Section 67
Issuance of driver's license

(1) In case of an application for an operator's license according to section 66, the authorized officer shall issue an operator's license to the applicant in the format as per schedule-6, after conducting the necessary investigation and finding that the information attached to the application is true. In this way, a person who has received a driver's license must bear the responsibility of operating the public vehicle involved in the transport service in an orderly manner.
(2) The operator's license granted in accordance with sub-section (1) shall be valid for five years from the date of its issuance.
